Meet Dr. Michelle Wittler
As an orthodontist, I create beautiful smiles, but more importantly, I have the opportunity to help patients establish positive self-image and improve self-confidence. Each day I get to interact with many people who are beautiful, both inside and out.
My job allows me to bring positive changes to the lives of those around me. I love talking with our patients and hearing about their accomplishments and fun activities. I love to encourage my patients and see their self-confidence grow as their smiles improve. A healthy, beautiful smile is a gift for a lifetime.
Education and Continuing Education
It has been my pleasure to practice orthodontics for over 20 years. I became interested in this profession after experiencing the excitement of having my own teeth straightened. I enjoyed my orthodontic journey and knew from the eighth grade that I wanted to be an orthodontist.
My undergraduate education was completed at Bowling Green State University in Ohio where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in chemistry in 1988. I worked as a chemist for several years after college but yearned for contact with the people in my community. I knew that the healthcare setting was where I belonged. I graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry with my Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1995. In 1997, I completed my Master of Science in Orthodontics.
My team and I participate in continuing education to learn about and understand new technology and current research in the orthodontic field. This allows us to provide the best orthodontic treatment in the most efficient manner. Our team’s continuing education leads to the WOW customer service that is provided from a team that works together and functions as One.

Family and Community
I was married to my husband Brian in October 1989. He graduated from Kettering University with an Industrial engineering degree and Indiana University-Indianapolis with a law degree. He has retired from the aerospace industry and is currently studying for his license to become a barber.
I also have two amazing sons: Bryson and Brennan. Both boys graduated from Westfield High School. Bryson graduated from Dayton University with a bachelors degree in finance and entrepreneurship. He is pursuing his masters in Business entertainment. Brennan is currently working and living in the area.
Finally, we have two adopted pets, our dog Meg and cat Fiasco. Meg loves to run and walk with us and is quite a squirrel hunter, while Fiasco is an indoor cat and loves to lay in the sun.
Brian and I enjoy our engagement with Westfield Northview Church. We also enjoy traveling, most outdoor activities like running, walking our dog, biking, golfing, or riding our motorcycle. We also enjoy food, whether it’s trying new local restaurants or cooking at home. Personally, I enjoy being active and usually run at least one half marathon each year. I also like to plant flowers around our house for a more relaxing activity.
I support my community because the people from this community lead to the success of Wittler Orthodontics. I feel great when I can help someone or support an important mission. Programs that support the youth of our community and their education as well as those that serve the less fortunate are where I devote my volunteer time. I serve on the board of the Heart and Soul Free Clinic, a local clinic that serves the underinsured with medical and dental services. I spent 10 years on the Westfield Education Foundation board supporting teachers and students in the Westfield school system. I have also been a strong supporter of Westfield Relay for Life and the Westfield Youth Assistance Program. It's a joy to promote the growth and vibrancy of this community.
