Meet Dr. Wittler in Westfield IN
As an orthodontist, I create beautiful smiles, but more importantly, I have the opportunity to help patients establish positive self-image and improve self-confidence. Each day I get to interact with many people who are beautiful, both inside and out. My job allows me to bring positive changes to the lives of those around me. Whether it is correcting a bite which allows someone to chew their food normally or straightening teeth into a beautiful smile which creates confidence, I see positive results every day. A healthy, beautiful smile is a gift for a lifetime.
Education and Continuing Education
My interest in orthodontics began when I had braces as a teen. I was intrigued by the whole process of getting my teeth straightened and always maintained an interest in that career path. My undergraduate education was completed at Bowling Green State University in Ohio where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in chemistry in 1988. I worked as a chemist for many years after college but yearned for contact with the people in my community. I knew that the healthcare setting was where I belonged. I graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry with my Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1995. In 1997, I completed my Master of Science in Orthodontics.
I complete a minimum of 20 hours of continuing education every two years. These courses are important to stay current on the newest orthodontic technology and provide the best possible treatment for my patients. I am careful to analyze the latest technology before implementing it in our office. I only choose products and procedures that will improve the quality of care for our patients.

Outside the Office
I have an incredible family. My husband works for Rolls Royce on the defense side of aircraft engine manufacturing. Bryson, born in 2000 and Brennan, born in 2001 are currently students at Westfield High School and Park Tudor. The majority of my time outside of work is spent supporting my boys in all their activities and sports. I love watching them play football and soccer. My favorite pastime is running and I try to run at least one half marathon each year. When relaxing away from home, I love to go to the beach to bask in the warm sun, beautiful blue skies, and deep bluish-green waters with the sound of the waves and soft white sand tickling my toes; now that’s a vacation!
In the Community
I live in a fantastic city and enjoy promoting the growth and vibrancy of this community. I feel great when I can help someone or support an important mission. Programs that support the youth of our community and their education as well as those that serve the less fortunate are where I devote my volunteer time. I am actively involved in the Westfield Chamber of Commerce and am on the Community Awareness Committee that helps with the annual awards dinner and fundraiser that the Chamber hosts. I also represent the Chamber on the Open Doors Board. Open Doors is a faith-based, non-profit organization that assists people with their physical and spiritual needs. Wittler Orthodontics collects different items several times a year to donate to their projects. I am also proud to serve on the Westfield Education Development Foundation Board. This group raises money to support Westfield teachers with grant money, and awards senior students with scholarship money for college. I also sponsor the Westfield Relay for Life and several Downtown Westfield Association activities.
